Welcome to our website !
Although the band has been in existence for 100 years, this website gives you an insight into the band, as it is today. Please check the Engagements section regularly as this will give you a diary of our forthcoming events. We hope to soon add a players profile page too ! We have a new MD - Lawrence Butchart and new Presidents, Jilly and David Hills. Come and Join us The Band is always looking for new players young and old to join in the enjoyment of creating music. On Tuesday May 12th we launched a Training Band at an open evening at the Band rehearsal base. We were very pleased with the event with 16 new players arriving and luckily we found instruments for all! The event was supported by the Mayor of Christchurch, Cllr. David Flagg, who can be seen in the photo below We would be very interested to hear from anyone from the age of 8 years upwards who would also like to join us

| Centenery year To conclude our centenery year we held a concert on the 24th April 2009 at the Salvation Army Hall, Palmerston Road, Boscombe. We were joined by Poole Borough Band and the Avon Valley Chorus. Christchurch & Highcliffe Band opened the concert with Puncinello, Poole Borough woke everyone up with a fantastic performance of The Champions and enthralled and inspired us with other pieces, to see the program please click here |
